Sigma S34 Motorhome Alarm System
A two to one upgrade is the most commonly fitted type of insurance approved alarm system on the market today. Most modern vehicles come with an insurance approved immobiliser straight from the factory. It operates on a chip built into the vehicles key. This immobiliser is classed as a category two. By fitting a two to one alarm system it is upgraded to a full category one insurance approved alarm system.
All external openings including cab doors, bonnet and rear lockers that provide access to the living area are armed. The alarm is capable of operating the central locking. Locking and unlocking as the system is armed and disarmed.
Inside your motorhome is protected by ultrasonic movement sensors either side of the front window. Should a window be smashed or movement picked up inside your motorhome the alarm will trigger. These sensors can be turned off at your free will, allowing you to arm the exterior doors and lockers but move round inside your motorhome without triggering the system.
