The Camos Crank Up Flat Sat Is based on a planar type dish which is a effective way of making a dish smaller, more weather resistant and perform better than a conventional shaped dish. The dish itself measures 40cm across but will perform more like a conventional 55cm satellite. Not only is this crank-up satellite light weight, weighing around 5.5kg but it only measure 12cm in height when in the parked position. Setting this unit up can be done from inside your motorhome / caravan simply wind the handle the indicated amount of turns to elevate the dish. Then slowly turn the sprung locator in the direction of the satellite signal.
A little practice is required with any manual satellite system but once familiar with the setup procedure a crystal clear satellite picture can be achieved in no time at all.
Kit comes complete with compass.
A satellite receiver is required with this kit.
