Kathrein CAP 900 Automatic Satellite System
Kathrein Cap 900 is a state of the art satellite system. Unlike other automatic satellites this system has a built in GPS locator. Before the satellite starts to search it already knows some helpful information. Where your vehicle is situate, which direction its facing. As the system starts to search it can automatically adjust the LNB for optimum performance. A fast and accurate search can be carried out in no time at all. The 70cm dish really does perform like some dishes that are a lot bigger.
This system comes with a twin LNB and its own receiver that doubles as a controller. A Sky or HD box can be used in conjunction with the Kathrein FTA receiver.
Furthest Astra 2D coverage of all dishes in its class. Including parts of Portugal (Setubal & Odemira) and Southern Spain (Almeria) Astra 2D carrys both BBC & ITV which would usually require a 1.5 - 2M dish in these areas.
Note: SKY+receivers can be used with the CAP 900 but will not offer the same features as when used at home. For instance, it is not possible to watch one channel while recording another.
