Rutland 913 Wind Turbine
The Rutland 913 wind turbine is very popular for charging batteries boats, Caravans & Motorhome. Its generous charging capacity in relation to it's size (910mm diameter) makes it ideal for charging two banks of batteries. Although designed for use on board boats, barges or yachts it is also suitable for providing power to remote buildings to power a few energy saving light bulbs or a couple of home electrical appliances.
-Wind speed start up of 5 knots
-24W at 10 knots
-90W at 19 knots
-Low wind speed start up resulting in more ampere hours of power each day in low to average wind speeds.
-Efficient aerofoil blades with a unique 'one way fit' feature. This ensures blades are fitted correctly for optimum performance.
-The 913 turbine is finely balanced ensuring a smooth rotation and quiet operation.
-360 degree free rotation: the 'post adaptor' secures the turbine to the pole which carries the slip ring and brush gear. This enables the turbine to rotate 360 degrees freely without causing the wires to twist inside the mounting pole.
-New and unique 3-phase generator design maintains momentum between gusts of wind where many turbines often tend to stall. This results in more free power which can be stored in the battery.
-Auto thermal cut-out protects wind turbine from overheating in high winds.
-Durable materials.
